Office of the Senior Vice President for Research
The OSVPR site provides links to research resources available at Penn State. Sections of particular interest: research centers, facilities and laboratories; information to guide proposal development; information about the resources to ensure research is conducted in accord with regulations protecting human participants, animals, students, and personnel; and online training courses and workshops.
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) facilitates proposal submission, award review, contract negotiation, and subaward issuance.

The Office for Research Protections (ORP) ensures that research at the University is conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines that protect human participants, animals, students, and personnel involved with research.

Methodological and Statistical Assistance
- The Statistical Consulting Center
This center is run by the Department of Statistics. It offers "Stat-on-call" services to Penn State faculty in all disciplines.
- The Methodology Center
The Center is operated by the College of Health & Human Development (HHD). It
provides links to information on research methods, free software, short courses in
methodology, and eResources (short training podcasts and videos).
