The OVPCC grants office supports the scientific, scholarly, and outreach efforts of the faculty, staff and students of the University College, Abington and Great Valley. The grants office supports the sponsored project lifecycle, to include opportunity research, pre-award and proposal development, post-award, and close out. A major focus of the grants office is compliance with federal and commonwealth regulations and other sponsor requirements, as well as University policies and procedures.

Judy Latta is the Grant Relations Manager and Authorized Organizational Representative. Judy oversees proposal submissions for externally sponsored research, outreach and instruction projects, and sponsor relations with federal, state and local agencies; industry sponsors; and non-profits.

Katie Wheeler is the post-award grants administrator for University College, Penn State Abington and Penn State Great Valley. She is available to assist with issues that occur once a grant has been awarded, such as account and budget setups, reporting and liaising with the University’s central Office of Research Accounting.
