High School Dual Enrollment Agreements

Penn State has pre-approved dual enrollment agreement templates for PSU instructors to teach high school students on a PSU campus or for high school instructors to teach a PSU course at a high school. These agreements outline the specific terms that apply uniquely to dual enrollment including the tuition price, course availability, clearances required for teaching minors, etc.  The VP for Commonwealth Campuses has delegated signatory authority for dual enrollment agreements:

  1. Campuses request a dual enrollment agreement by downloading the agreement template(s) at the following links and presenting them to the school district for signature:
    1. PSU instructors teaching on a PSU campus - Dual Credit Affiliation Agreement Template_at PSU _revised_6_7_24.pdf
    2. HS instructors teaching PSU courses at the high school - Dual Credit Affiliation Agreement Addendum for in HS_instruction_2.25.pdf
  2. Return the agreement (with district and campus contact information added),signed by the district and the campus chancellor or submit requests for edits to the template to [email protected].
  3. The VP for Commonwealth Campuses will sign the agreement and OVPCC will return the agreement to the campus for distribution to the district.
  4. OVPCC will maintain a registry of all dual enrolled agreements at Compliance Team for Dual Credit Enrolled Minors | General | Microsoft Teams
